Three years after the collapse of civilization, four brothers run the last secure compound for miles — a fortified refuge with power, food, and medicine. Guided by a doctrine passed down by their father, they believe humanity’s future must be rebuilt deliberately by choosing women who will help create the next generation. When a group of survivors arrives at their gates, they’re offered something nearly impossible to refuse: safety inside the compound and a place in rebuilding the future. But survival comes with a choice — each woman must decide whether the security the compound provides is worth accepting the role the brothers believe they were meant to play.
